Reformer Pilates addresses the body and mind as a whole using precise, well-aligned, and intentional movements and poses to tone, lengthen, and challenge the body. By incorporating mindfulness, breath, and fluid movement, the body is brought into a place of ease. (Why observers think it "looks easy"). Classes are by no means easy—you will sweat and shake from head to toe using slow, controlled contractions through full body, full joint ranges of motion with the emphasis on your core. With the unique ability to adjust spring tensions for each exercise and ability level, it’s possible to modify, progress, and tailor exercises to everybody for every exercise - whether it be to provide more support to the absolute beginner or more challenge to the most experienced Pilates lovers.
