Exercise doesn’t have to be intimidating. In our fun, upbeat, and welcoming studio, we help you to move better, look better, and feel better. We offer one-on-one and small group personal training, pilates reformer classes, and nutritional guidance.
Jeannie is the owner and operator of Empower Pilates & Personal Training. With over 25 years of training experience, she has helped countless people reach their goals and fall in love with fitness. Known for her unique ability to see and correct the smallest imbalances, Jeannie is able to effectively articulate the nuances necessary to treat and train her clients—giving them the best results physically, mentally, and emotionally. Every day, Jeannie works to make Empower Pilates & Personal Training a place where her clients feel welcomed, challenged, and—empowered! Her positive energy and keen attention to detail help make Empower the friendly and uplifting community that it is. Beyond her fitness expertise, Jeannie is highly knowledgeable about nutrition and always ready to help her clients with that aspect of their health and wellness journey. When she’s not in the studio you can find Jeannie enjoying the beauty of nature and spending time with her family.
Wanessa is a Pilates Trainer at Empower. Starting as a runner, yogi, CrossFit athlete, and all-around fitness fanatic—Wanessa fell in love with pilates at our very own studio. After a few years of training friends and building her client base, she is diving headfirst into the next chapter of her pilates journey at Empower. Wanessa finds joy in watching her clients progress in their pilates journey—helping them master movements they once found difficult. Each session, she takes steps to help her clients find how pilates can improve their life—whether that be with their balance, energy levels, stress reduction, overall mental health, and beyond. Wanessa promises to bring creativity, positivity, and devotion to each and every session! When she’s not training clients, Wanessa is creating new dishes in the kitchen, focusing on her own exercise routine, and spending time with her son.

Jen is a Pilates Trainer at Empower, natural-born caretaker, and health and wellness enthusiast. Starting her journey with an emphasis on yoga, Jen began teaching classes ranging from Spin, Pilates, and even Golf Fitness! She has been working in the health and wellness space for almost 20 years. In Jen’s classes she aims to place heavy emphasis on the mind and body connection. A reiki master by training, Jen can do it all—from hardcore fitness classes to zen-like meditation. With every session, she works to help her clients realize their full potential—challenging them from start to finish. When Jen’s not working with her clients, she is playing golf with her husband, meeting up with friends and family at the beach, and enjoying the Long Island food scene!

Maria comes to us with more than 12 years of experience in the sports and fitness field. A physiotherapist, certified functional trainer, TRX, Pilates, and high performance sports trainer, there is nothing Maria can’t do. With every client, she aims to bring positive changes to their lifestyle. She is a self-proclaimed perfectionist—paying careful attention to the safety of her clients in their movement. Maria teaches her clients that there is no body that can work without a mind, and no mind that develops without a body. She pushes them to make themselves a priority, reminding them that it’s not selfish, it’s necessary. Outside of training clients, Maria enjoys being active herself–playing sports and focusing her energy on always giving her best!
